Motopia formerly Cirralto, is a global data migration company that helps corporate and government clients migrate their legacy systems to the cloud. They help clients migrate data from their current systems into new systems that will enable them to grow.

Objective

Motopia came to DigiGround for support with videography. They were looking for a professional company to capture their Annual General Meeting (AGM).

They had planned a panel discussion and presentation and wanted to be able to add the final video to the website for stakeholders and shareholders to view.

DigiGround Work Process

DigiGround met with Motopia to discuss the plan and objectives for the AGM. The AGM was important for the company and its shareholders and investors, as key decisions were made and voted upon, including the decision to rename the company from Cirralto to Motopia.

The client came to us as they were looking to capture each panel member’s discussion and overview, as well as capture the panel as a group. We suggested the use of two cameras and three mic lapels to ensure the best results.

Our DigiGround videographer was a jack of all trades in video production. Our videographer was the director, camera operator and video editor. Not only was this cost effective for Motopia, but it also gave them a single point of contact for everything related to the video production.

One of the cameras was kept stationary to capture the entire panel group, while the other cameras were used to zoom in on each panel member’s discussion. Our in-house videographer edited the video footage with segments of the presentation to match the presenter’s comments. The video ended with Motopia’s branding.

The Motopia AGM video was a success. It was published to the client’s website where it was viewed by their stakeholders and visitors alike.
