Australian Good Design Awards Winner

DigiGround was the proud winner of the Good Design Awards 2019 in the Digital Design, Apps and Software category for our youchamp App.

Good Design Australia was started in 1958 and runs the most prestigious Australian awards for design excellence and innovation in technology. The Awards celebrate the best new products and services on the Australian market, excellence in design, social impact and design entrepreneurship.

This Good Design Award has recognised the progress that we have made and skills we have achieved in mobile application development and related technologies. The DigiGround team has worked hard on the youchamp app, and it is wonderful to have our achievements acknowledged by Good Design Australia.

The Good Design Awards Jury praised the youchamp app, commenting, “Pitched as a chat app that happens to have split-bill payment functionality – this may set it apart from competitors like Billr and Divvy. The payment options are a big bonus and there is great onboarding and introduction to workflow of group creation and contact invitation. There is also an easy to grasp and intuitive UI. Great idea, with a strong case for use.”
