About

First Step company founder, Dave Ward, is a self-taught finance and property investment expert. He has personally invested in around $70 million worth of property (cost price) and assisted others in investing in around $80 million worth of investment property. He started First Step Property with the aim of directly impacting his clients in the finance space by saving them a lot of time and interest and help them build their property portfolios.

Objective

The client approached DigiGround to build two company websites: First Step Property and First Step Finance. First Step Property and First Step Finance are a mortgage broker and financial adviser start-up company, supporting consumer and business clients with residential and commercial offerings. First Step wanted the new websites to meet modern standards, host video content, showcase their 5-step investment process and provide a place to share blogs and articles featuring the latest industry news.

DigiGround Work Process

DigiGround created a new WordPress website for First Step Property. The site was set up to encourage lead capture and basic search engine optimisation (SEO).

DigiGround’s in-house graphic designers worked painstakingly to create custom graphics that encompassed First Step’s brand and iconic style and developed a graphic design to display their 5-step process. Each page was customised to meet the company’s intended goals.

DigiGround also provided copywriting. The copywriting included the company backstory, explanations for each service, calls-to-action encouraging website traffic to sign up to their lead nurture (subscriber) program, the 5-step process and taglines. DigiGround’s marketing team sat with each First Step staff member to capture their story and interpret it in a relatable way.

While working with First Step, we also provided guidance on email marketing, website hosting, email hosting, ongoing SEO management, website maintenance and much more.
