About
Jack Belt has 70 years of experience, sourcing and marketing top quality products from around the world. They launched Jack Belt in 2016 and have seen their product go from strength to strength, now selling all over the world. In 2018 they launched Jack Oz, the umbrella company of Jack Belt.
Objective
To cement the launch of Jack Oz, Jack Belt approached DigiGround to convert their current WIX website to a WordPress site. They wanted to expand the search engine optimisation (SEO) for themselves but were limited by the platform it was on.
They also wanted to improve the ecommerce platform, to be able to encourage upselling and sales to related products and improve user experience.
DigiGround Work Process
The project involved the DigiGround design team, marketing team and website development team.
After gaining an understanding of the brand style and personality, the DigiGround graphic design team created a few draft designs for the website. These designs were custom made to reflect the client’s point of difference.
After approval from the client on the chosen style, the web development team began building each of the webpages. They created templates for the client so that they could add more pages if needed in future. Our custom website design for the client served the purpose of improving the user experience for customers, potentially increasing conversion rate and lifetime value.
While the site was being built, our in-house photographer took professional photos of the range of belts on offer. We also took some hero shots for use in the website main banners, as well as shots of people modelling the products.
The website included an improved menu with a homepage, ‘how to buy’, ecommerce section, FAQ, about, blog and contact page. Finally, we assigned the client a new email address for online enquiries.
DigiGround continues to provide the client with ad-hoc marketing and website support when needed.
