Oktion is a mobile fundraising app that will help organisations raise more money and ha

ve fun at the same time. Users can increase donations by allowing their guests to bid from the convenience of their phone. The Oktion app works seamlessly with all types of audiences and can be adapted to the user’s settings.

Objective

The client came to us to develop their online auction and raffle app, Oktion, from scratch. They wanted web and mobile apps that can be used on any device. They also wanted complete branding, logo design, website design and development, social media set up and management, SEO management and email marketing.

DigiGround Work Process

While this was happening, our graphic designers were busy creating the app’s brand. Working collaboratively with the client, they decided on the colours, fonts, images and logo for the online raffle app. With the brand guidelines in place, they set to work designing an attractive and effective design for both the charity raffles app and website.

DigiGround held a discovery session with the client to gather what they wanted for the application. Mobile application development is a big process, so it was important that we got it right from the get-go. Upon receiving the brief, our app development team put together a plan and started work on the app.

Our digital marketing team set up the social media pages for the app, complete with content. They also put together an email marketing newsletter to promote the app as soon as it was launched.

Once the web design was finalised, DigiGround’s web developers began translating it into a website. Our marketers worked with the client to put together content for the website. This content was then added to the website and optimised for SEO.
