About

Fitness4All is the leading fitness centre in Parkes, New South Wales. Locally owned and operated by Shane Mann, founder of Puppi Lovers, Fitness4All has brand new equipment in its fully renovated gym area of the PCYC in Pearce Street. This equipment enables the gym to provide members with the opportunity to cover all areas, including weight loss, strength training and rehabilitation.

Objective

Shane came to us with the desire to create a new website to coincide with the grand opening of his new gym. He outlined three main goals for the website design: provide information for visitors to become a gym member, build a robust timetable and classes display to reduce enquiries, and make sure every equipment had detailed information about use and function.

DigiGround Work Process

Armed with a camera, we kick started the website development by visiting Fitness4All for a day of photography. Guided by Shane, our photographer took photos of every equipment and room in the gym. He also took staff photos and promotional photos for use both on the website and outside of the website (i.e. marketing). These photos were then edited and sized appropriately to be upload to the website.

Our website designer than strategised the best way to accommodate the different user journeys on the website: those who want to become a member, and existing members looking to learn more.

We devised two different ways of browsing through the website. Flowing from the homepage, into the navigation and continuing into the equipment and class list and detail pages, we structured the website in a way that made it easy for all kinds of visitors to find which class and equipment was right for them.

The user journeys were mapped to give users the information they are looking for as quickly as possible. This provision of this information would serve to either bring existing members to fitness classes or to encourage users to come into the centre to become a member.

The result of our website development was a beautiful, sleek and modern website that allows visitors to self-educate themselves on the different options available. Fitness4All’s website successfully unifies all of their membership information, timetables and offerings under one cohesive roof. And since websites should always be changing, Fitness4All has been positioned with all the tools they need in the CMS to implement changes as their gym continues to evolve in the future.
