DigiGround created a customised WordPress website for Stockroom Café, with two entry points for targeted navigation and optimised for search engine ranking. The site focusses on promoting their extensive catering menu and café service.
The café site is in an old wool store, with great historical significance. So, using this theme, our web designers styled the site with warm tones, lent from the logo’s brown hues, and carried through the sepia of the main imagery and consistent colouring in the background, footer and headers.
We then worked on optimising the website for search engine rankings. We researched the best keywords for each page, chose sub keywords and wrote text that incorporated those words.
We then worked on off-page SEO, where we optimised each of the social media pages for exact match website URLs. Then, we setup their Google My Business listing profile for location searches, and setup Google Analytics for tracking and reporting website traffic and trends. We setup their Search Console, verified the site, removed author archive pages from index. Generated a sitemap and uploaded it to Search Console. We then used Search Console to fetch and render the site. And finally, we indexed the site for Google by submitting the sitemap to Bing and Yahoo.
We continue to provide ad-hoc website and search engine advice and support to Stockroom Café.
