We’re excited to announce the launch of our new mobile app, Oktion! The Oktion app was started because we found that our DigiCare partners needed more out of their fundraising events. The time and effort required to organise auction items, collect donations and manage RSVPs was overwhelming. And at the end of the event, most of the funds raised went towards paying fees for using auction technology.
Oktion was created to help automate the auction process, making silent auctions more fun, manageable and profitable. Oktion app will let organisers focus on their core initiative, no matter how big or small it may be.
There are no setup costs and no membership fees – just a small administration fee applied when you sell your auction items or raise funds for your charity of choice. To get started, simply download the mobile app and sign up as a user or business. From here, you’ll be able to create new auction events, add items to auctions, bid on items, manage lots, invite guests and make or receive automatic payments and money transfers.
We are currently in the process of developing a web application so you can manage every aspect of your auction event. We also know that this is just the beginning, and we are constantly working on improving the Oktion app to make it even better for our users. We encourage you to download the Oktion app, run a small auction, and share your feedback and experience with us.
